Biography

Like so many Shaw Brothers starlets of the 1970's, Chen Szu-Chia was recruited from Taiwan. She is originally a graduate of the Central Motion Picture Corporation's Actors Training Course and a beauty contest winner. From Chu Yuan-helmed "The Magic Blade", to Liu Chia-Liang-helmed "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" and "Return to the 36th Chamber", she appeared in over twenty Shaw Brothers productions. She worked with Ti Lung, Lo Lieh, Ching Li and Tanny Tien Ni in "The Magic Blade". She gradually faded from the movie scene after her marriage in 1981, and one of her last roles was opposite newcomer Anita Mui Yim-Fong in "Lucky Diamond".
