Love Me, Love My Money (2001)

Summary: Hysterical
Just as one would expect, the plot is your standard formulaic and predictable romantic slapstick comedy (and nearly a satirization thereof). But this movie is noticeably different in that it is pulled off with absolute perfection in timing and material. And I loved nearly every single minute of it. Certainly, the screen presence of little Tony and Shu Qi helped matters along somewhat...but the success of this is all script and directorial execution, so this one belongs to Wong Jing. When he's on, he's on...

What movie these reviewers below watched, as well as several other fanboy website reviewers saw, is a complete mystery to me...I might guess that they don't have the life expereinces to understand why romantic comedies are, indeed, and in fact need to be...comedies...
