Summary: Too wacky- even for me!
Eric Tsang is an actor most people either love or hate. Personally I love him! I even make a point of trying to track down some of his more obscure movies. This film however, went too far even for me.

Chez N' Ham Story (or Curry & Pepper III), is a film about two bumbling wannabe gangsters Cheese (Dicky Cheung), and Ham (Eric Tsang). For the first half hour or so, these two get in various get rich quick schemes that fail miserably.

Finally some element of plot is introduced when these two morons are hired to kill Joey Wong for 10 million. They come up with the idea of passing Cheese off as a little kid and much of the movie has him crawling a round a play pen devising ways to kill Joey.

The final part of the movie does have some pretty decent action scenes. Blacky Ko plays an excellent psycho, and the movie does end with a bang. The action scene at the end does bring the film up a point or two.

As mentioned earlier, I am a fan of Eric Tsang acting like a screwball. Although he did give me a few laughs, this one just wasn't working for me. I have also never seen an HK movie with so many gay references. They went way over the top in that category.

I would have scored this film even lower, but it does have three things going for it: Tsang dressing up in goofy costumes, a good action scene, and very catchy theme music.
