well, i enjoyed this quite a lot. it's a film that never really tries to be anything else, but a nice tale of a family who are both individuals and a single unit.

sometimes it's a touch too nice, but it's overall charm means that it usually gets away with it. i do love martin yan, and i liked the amusing pun / reference to 'yan can cook'...

it's not a great film, it's just a nice easy watching story, that's presented and executed well.
