Romantic Dream (1995)

Summary: NULL
The Cheung Man Movie Production Co. debuts with a romantic comedy and the film return of HK's most beautiful actress (Cheung Man, of course) as a rich gal whose fascination with fast cars brings her crashing into the life of brilliant auto engineer/mechanic Lau Ching-Wan. They get split up, and while he becomes rich and famous, she gets married to capitalist turncoat Michael Wong, who siphons money from Lau's company by connecting lovelorn Lau with a psychic adept who (for a king's ransom in gold), gives the engineer totally realistic, 3D dreams of whatever he wants (which is, of course, Cheung Man). The love story's okay, but the movie's parodies of triad male-bonding flicks will have HK film fans snickering (though my all-Chinese audience didn't seem, er, to get the jokes). So, I guess you're just dying to see the film now, huh?
