Ghostly Bus (1995)

Summary: NULL
Every night, a cabbie with "psychic eyebrows" saves his last express for a group of disembodied souls, all victims of a gruesome bus plunge (it just happens to be bus #97 -- get it? the year the PRC takes over); they all wear whiteface and act like they're on downers. A cute girl ghost (Wah Kar Ling), asks the driver to find her old boyfriend (Simon Yam), a pickpocket who's being chased by a group of menacing young traids. The film swings like a pendulum between past and present; it also has difficulty committing to a genre -- it's equal parts soft-focus romance (the best part), unscary ghost story, and generic triad drama.
