Millionaire Cop (1993)

Summary: NULL
Cop Ng Man-Tat has six little kids all about the same age (?),and rides to work in a sputtering motor-scooter; Aaron Kwok, his partner, is an impeccably groomed fashion plate. Things start off rousingly with a spectacular martial arts set piece on a building's bamboo scaffolding, but it loses gas fast. Kwok's lucky; his girlfriend (Chingmy Yau -- didn't I tell you he was lucky) is such a compulsive cleaner that she washes other people's cars. The two cops have been assigned to protect the son of a rich businessman, so they play out their gags, quintessential Wong Jing style. You can see both dressed, and fighting, in schoolgirl drag...Ng Man-Tat "secreting" when a pretty office girl sits on a chair that just happens to have him underneath...Maggie Cheung turning into a sex machine whenever she sees something round...Ng with a prosthetic hand with a life of its own, especially when fighting and around girls... Played for farce value, much of this is frantic and stupid, and other bits unaccountably funny and even exciting. An obscure highlight its great parody of Red Rose, White Rose!
