Valley of the Fangs (1970)

Summary: 8/10 - worthy entry in a crowded genre
Intrigue in the court means that the wife and daughter of framed scholar Sung have to travel to the capital in disguise, as court agents hunt them down. A righteous swordsman and a group of kiln workers get caught up in the action.

A fine piece of swordplay film-making from director Cheng Chang-Ho - not nearly as ground-breaking or distinctive as KING BOXER would be a year or two later, but a strong story and some intermittently great action make it a worthy entry in a crowded genre.
