Crocodile River (1965)

Summary: Clunky
As the result of a night of violence ~20 years ago, two Thai villages are stuck in a feud. Naturally, the son and daughter of the feuding families meet and fall in love at college. When they come home the stage is set for the escalation and bloody resolution of the conflict.

Unfortunately the story is poorly told, and it's hard to enjoy the scenery on the IVL VCD, which may be the only way this clunker will ever be released.

For a drama from this period, there is a surprising amount of (stand in) nudity. The lead actress gets slapped around a lot, which may not be surprising. Also not surprising is the ending, if you're used to Chang Cheh's usual ones.
