Summary: some old, some new.
Cool title, right? The always excellent Wong Jing produces Billy Chung directing a classic genre paste-up screenplay that covers a lot of the same old, same old triad gangster melodrama material that we've been getting out of the SAR in recent years. This production is quite well done and exudes a certain kind of energy that will keep your viewing unusually compelling. Wong brings the heavy here, exploring some themes he touched on in Wise Guys Never Die [2006]. Fans of the always interesting Jordan Chan will not be disappointed.
