Superproduction that makes a recreation of an historic episode "with hundreds of extras", big stars in supporting roles and even one unit sent to England where a couple of memorable scenes take place.
Although not all the film is at the same level, and some scenes have a treatment lacking polishing, on the whole its effort is considerable and well planned.
