The famous supernatural tale writer Pu Song-Ling (Jackie Chan) and his recent disciple (Lin Po-Hung) are two demon hunters who are always supported by a group of fabulous little goblins who accompany them on all their adventures.
In the latter, they must face a demon kidnapping girls, for which they will have to team up with a mysterious swordsman (Ethan Ruan) who was actually the demon's fiancé (Elaine Zhong).
In the midst of all this, many visual effects by computer which end up filling up, action scenes, comedy, romance and a dispensable musical number sung by Jackie.
It is a film for all audiences, with all that this means, nice but certainly inferior in the career of its star.
