Very rarely do I see a movie with so little to recommend it. The plot- a young man goes to get revenge on the criminal who killed his family- might be serviceable if SOMETHING were done to make it interesting, but as it is it's an incredible bore... Unlikeable characters, (Have the last few movies I've seen him in just not displayed his talents very well or is Andy Lau just entirely lacking charisma?) limp drama and a few unexciting action scenes. A real disappointment from Ringo Lam. In fact, the only resemblance this bears to any previous Ringo Lam film I can think of is the lacklustre "rock" soundtrack, which isn't even MEMORABLY bad like Full Contact's... All around one of the worst films I've endured in a while.
