A police officer (Stanley Fung) tracks down the pickpocket (Kent Cheng) that stole his wallet, only to find that the pickpocket's son is his own son's best friend. What's more, the pickpocket's family is struggling to get by and doesn't know their provider is a petty thief. Now the police officer must decide whether to turn in the kind-hearted pickpocket. Even though it sounds formulaic, this is a surprisingly good movie, primarily because it does not take the easy way out.
