Jade Leung Cheng is Yeung, a rookie policewoman who volunteers topose as a hooker to lure a dangerous criminal named Yam Tung into a police trap. She is aided by a cowardly pimp named Chan Hong (Jordan Chan Siu-Chin), who the Police persuade to betray Tung for a passport to Australia and money. Tung is captured, but escapes. He breaks into Yeung's apartment, at the same time her Uncle is visiting, and forces the woman to kill her relative. Tung then rapes Yeung and flees to the Mainland. Since Hong was Tung's friend, Yeung kidnaps him to the Mainland in her quest for revenge against Tung. Although a formula script that is basically a take on 48 HOURS, the film comes off as a passable action film. Jordan Chan hams it up as the annoying pimp. Jade Leung, in a departure from her more robotic roles of SATIN STEEL and THE BLACK CAT films, actually has a little depth in her portrayal of a woman tortured by doubts of what she is doing. Yu Rong-Guang gives a restrained performance as the Mainland Police Captain trying to track down Tung and keep the Hong Kong pair under custody, from which they are constantly escaping. All in all, not bad for a action film.
