This movie aims at the same territory as Erotic Ghost Story and Sex & Zen, but does not even manage to combine the worst elements of them, let alone the best. The nudity is lush and well- photographed, but there is far too little of it, and nothing much to make up for this lack. The ending looks like a "the moral of this story is" message gone wrong, and is a head-scratcher. The beautiful photography was ruined by the bad print I watched, which also had terribly faint subtitles. Mad keen female fans of Tan Lap Man may mildly enjoy this one, but there are far better well-photographed period porns than this.
