You can also find this under it's alternate titles "Spooky, Spooky" and "Spooky, Spooky, Spooky", while Spooky does have some genuinely scary parts it's also equally goofy. A few scenes are very Jaws inspired as is the plot. The local authorities decide to close down a popular beach due to a recent rash of drownings. An lovely investigator (Joyce Mina Godenzi) is assigned to the case and discovers the drownings are being caused by a vengeful ghost. A coroner named Queency sporting a very bad wig also lends a hand.

Spooky moves at a brisk pace and the last 15 minutes are a great example of HK horror/comedy. A disembodied hand plays a hand of mahjong and diddles around in Richard Ng's pants before reattaching itself to it's owner. The make-up effects are great and very reminiscent of Evil Dead as is the whole severed hand gag. 7.5/10
