A very good (and typical gambling film) opening sequence, featuring Lau Daan and another guy looking really menacing and doing gamblers tricks. In the following 90 minutes or so, there is the occasional sequence of this type and quality, but the remainder is very dull melodrama, mainly concerning tensions between the two brothers.

I'm baffled by the Cat III rating. There are occasional violent scenes, and an implied rape, but nothing which would earn more than a Cat IIa.

A ten-minute video of the highlights would be recommended viewing. The rest is a complete waste of some quite good talent.
