Only Match and Alien return for the sequel, without any explanation as to where all the other characters went. Looks like Alien has learned some VERY broken english for the sequel. The villain in this movie is an extremely horrible actor who talks as if there's an exclamation mark after each and every sentence. The only thing that could possibly be worst than his acting is the surprise plot twist near the ending of this movie that make absolutely no sense at all. (I won't give this away to anyone who hasn't seen the movie yet, but I think those who have seen it know what I'm talking about.)
The robot in the movie which is suppose to be the highlight of the movie doesn't live up to expectations. It was supposedly built by the same people who did the robot effects for Terminator 2. However, it looks like they didn't put any effort into it at all. It looks like all they did was take a left over endoskeleton from T2, put some armor on it, and then gave it Robocop's legs.
On the bright side, the CG for the robot is half decent, but all other CG was absolutely horrific.
Overall, the movie is a fun watch if you lower your expectaions and don't take it too seriously.
