Lately I'd really been looking forward to it, to some manic comedy from an intelligent writer/director duo to fill the gap before Stephen Chiau's next effort. Perhaps I expected too much, as HELP!!! didn't come close to filling it. There was nothing terribly wrong with it, except perhaps that it was all perhaps a bit too OTT to still be played quite straight... and there were some nice bits (Cecilia's admirer being the funniest part). It just wasn't all that enjoyable in the final analysis.
