Live Hard (1989)

Summary: Bad
As suggested by the title, you will see reference to Die Hard, if you watch it (which I don't recommend anyone else doing). It's basically about a policeman who goes after terrorists. As the movie starts, a school bus blows up (copied later in Wong Jings 'High Risk') which had the son of the American Hong Kong consul, Ming (played by Simon Yam who was investigating the case of the terrorists) is replaced with someone else. However Ming goes at it alone anyway to track them down and bring them to justice.

You can expect the usual amount of over the top gun fights and violence as you would expect, and the story goes all over the place at times.

Highly unorigial concept, and it is just like watching a Wong Jing movie.

I really don't see how anyone who is serious about HK movies would ever see this, and I certainly do not suggest anyone should see it...you will see it as a big let down (unless you like rip off films).
