Cheung Mun leaves China and puts himself through art school inEurope, only keeps in contact with his wife Lok Siu Man in Mainland through letters. One summer vacation, the couple make an appointment to meet in Hong Kong, the two rented a cheap motel room in Mongkok and quickly discover the gap between them. Cheung Mun's Western way shocks Siu Man, and Siu Man's reserved olden ways upsets Cheung. Hong Kong, the strange land to the two, widens the gap even more...
