Gen-Y Cops (2000)

This movie is utter BS.

Firstly, Nicholas Tse is not present, so how can they do a sequel to Gen-X cops? Ok, fine, maybe they had to move on, but why not even a mention to what happened to him and Y2K (Grace Yip)?

Secondly, no way can Edison Chen act. I may be pissed about Nicholas Tse being missing, but putting Edison in his place was a total mistake. This dude cannot act to save his life. I know Nicholas may not be great, if not good, but certainly better than this guy.

The cast speaks terrible English, using slang that has no meaning or relation to the story. Basically, they're all "wannabe" Americans - there is no background for their use of language.

The thing about robots is gay - I don't know why they chose that as the main plot.

Maggie Q is just this slut that happens to be in the movie, and Rachel is nothing special - what happened to Haze (Match's girlfriend in Gen-X)?

The only thing that made the movie better was Alien and Match. They were great. Especially Alien - his attempts at english and his coffee/tea thing. The password thing at the beginning was funny too.

It was great how they had some cool cameo appearances.

But really, this movie was crap. This is not even a movie that teenagers would like, because the Edison dude is so annoying. He has an ego that is too big, and that smirk...yeuch.
