Young and Dangerous 5 (1998)

Summary: A dismal installment, but not that bad
Ekin Cheng returns as Chan Ho-Nam in the fifth installment, where an absent Chicken (Jordan Chan) and Shuk Fan (Karen Mok) result in probably the one that lacks the most in the whole Y&D series.

In this installment we see Ho Nam facing turf rivalry (again), but this time Hung Hing goes a bit more political. The bad guy offers Nam a challenge to a kickboxing match, as they both go head-to-head ina rather short, pointless finale.

Ekin Cheng was good in this movie, but he still wasn't good enough to save this movie from it's drab, overused plot. Luckily Anthony Wong and Sandra Ng save the movie as their small characters seem to be the most interesting thing in this installment. (The title song was pretty good too)

All-in-all: Nothing new, rather boring, but worth watching if you've watched the last 4. But don't expect something very great.
