Let me first say that outside of Stephen Chow, I usually don't like HK comedies. Maybe it's a language barrier thing. However, this film was truly funny. the chemistry between Anthony Wong & Lau Ching Wan is really what made this movie work. Some of the best back & forth dialogue I've seen. The female lead actress while cute, did not give a great performance. Some felt that there were too many harrowing scenes for a comedy. I disagree. There are many films that do the same thing. Most of them are action/Dramas with some comedy. This was an action/comedy with some drama. I highly recommend it.
