my name is sun jung.
I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Melbourne, Australia, conducting research on contemporary Korean cinema and transcultural consumption. I am interested in the different consumption trends in various cultural markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Bhutan, the UK and the US.

currently I am looking for participants in Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan for my research. it will be focus group interviews/discussions.
participants will discuss Korean cinema and fandom phenomena with me.
I'm planning to visit Japan in Ausgust, Hong Kong and Singapore in October.

Don't forget us Canadians! We consume Korean cinema too! And we're not like the U.S. in so many ways! If your school can send you to Canada, I'd love to participate.

Such interesting topic to research on! I've heard a lot of Korean dramas are shown in Taiwan and the most active followers of Korean stuff are from Taiwan.
