This one's been waiting a while because the last pics were from two films that the ripping process doesn't work very well on and the best way to get pics is directly from the disk. But it's tedious digging out the disks and also takes a lot longer than normal to get the pics. So I put them off for a while, but then my disk tray got removed when my mate built me a new PC. He's very busy lately so not managed to find me a BluRay reader yet, so for now NO DISKS
In the end I decided it'd waited long enough and I'll just get the pics the usual way and come back later to update the pics from those two films if I'm not satisfied.I ID'd him a while back now (a few years ago
) , but he was one of the worst that I struggled to ID for a long time, as I'd mostly seen him in (or seen images of him) during his 90s career and beyond, where (as you can see) he put on a fair amount of weight. He's one of the people that started me off on my journey of creating a Hanja database, him and the other cast members of Dreadnaught Rivals, that's where it really started Song Keum-shik is an interesting case as he started out as a stuntman in the early 80s, but during the 90s and 2000s went on to become a highly sort after actor who appeared in many gangster films and a whole host of TV series. I will come back and write a bio for him at some point (as usual
). He did already have a page on HKMDB and was credited in four films: Golden Dragon, Silver Sanke; Sheng Tiao Hero; Shaolin - The Blood Mission; and Rendea-vous Of Japanese Kanto, but hadn't yet been ID'd in any of them yet. There was already most of his basic info, the only thing I had to add there was his full DOB. I've added ID's for the four films above and for the four others that I've added his credit myself. I also tagged his name on one of Gaijin84's pics from Duel Of Ultimate Weapons, and added a Korean release date for GDSS and updated the Year Of Release to 1981.The Dragon's Showdown [1980] --- 4 roles
