As SPARKLING RED STAR film was released a year or two ago as part of the "Red Movies" series from Mainland China, I'm wondering if we shouldn't also add some of the others from the collection:

As these are all Mainland Chinese pictures, I'll leave it to the editors to decide if they should be added to the DB since they don't really quality as Hong Kong films. If they're not worth adding, then removing SPARKLING RED STAR might be an option as well.

And to those who haven't seen any of the above, they're DEFINITELY worth checking out. Obviously, they're the purest communist propaganda out there, and I'd imagine their release on DVD, at least in China, is hardly the result of some sort of "look how silly we were back then" mindset. Many of them from the first section of my list above are out of print, but the others are more recent. They've all got English subs, too. Cheap at Yesasia, too!

According to our Rules, we can add Mainland movies to our DB, and therefore, Mainland portraits.

Remember that now many HK movies are made in co-production terms with Mainland and these protraits are very useful then.

Mr. Young, in the credits of this movie appears the cast with the roles, so if you write the roles of the actors maybe I will be able to ID some of them.

I check their roles soon as possible...
