Mr. Nice Guy - new info + pics + IDs
Posted: Sun Apr 30, 2023 2:16 pmI've finally finished it, my project to try and ID some of the Aussie actors + stuntmen from Mr. Nice Guy. It took some time to do as there was a lot of names and little to work with beyond that. For many it was their only film, and for the rest, most were in hardly any other things, certainly not much in the way of easy to find. Then I got delayed by some bullshit and also digging into other rabbit holes too, got alot done but it's been a hectic few weeks.
It was interesting to find out more about Aussie stunt men, so little is known about them, some of the guys here even did stunts for the Mad Max films. I was also surprised to discover how many of them worked on the TV soap opera Neighbours, then again, that show went on for ever, so it's probably hard to find an Aussie who didn't appear on it.
I managed to ID about 33 of 42 of Giancarlo's Men (7 of which, the credit on Mr. Nice Guy is the only sign they ever existed), so I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, it was pretty frustrating at times.
