Kim Tae-jeong - IDs

This was meant to be one of my 1st KUPs, but it's been kept on hold for quite a long time. I've got an other update coming that will go into why.
It's a bit odd, but despite being considered a big star in Korea after the release of The Game Of Death, he only did four other films, the only one not here on HKMDB is Miss, Please Be Patient [1981]. Apparently he wanted to break away from just being a Bruce Lee clone so went to America to try and break into the film industry under his own name Kim Tae-jeong. But apart from his small role in No Retreat, No Surrender (playing Bruce yet again) his career didn't go anywhere and he got by teaching Taekwondo before eventually returning to Korea and doing other business. What's even more tragic is that was intending to do a comeback to films and was doing promotion, before he too, like his hero Bruce, died far too young.
Again, despite how few films he did, he's still held in high regard by international fans and especially back home in Korea where there is actually quite a bit of information on him. So I'm compiling a bio for him too.
The Game Of Death [1978] --- Billy Lo

Tower Of Death [1980] --- 2 roles Bobby Lo / Billy Lo

Jackie And Bruce To The Rescue [1981] --- Jeong-ryong (Master Bruce)

No Retreat, No Surrender [1986] --- Sensei Lee
