I haven't even read this and I feel a "rage" coming on...

I'm not so sure. It sounds like it might be interesting. And the director's not without some qualifications...

As to the GOLDEN CHICKEN films, I simply can't recommend BOTH of those highly enough. They're like valentines to the city of Hong Kong. The ending of the second one nearly had me in tears. Well, figuratively speaking, of course.

I just put both of them on my Wish List at YesAsia where they are cheaper than at Poker Industries, although Poker ships stuff a lot more quickly.

Holding off on ordering them from any source for a while since my wife and I have decided to re-establish (actually she decided and then informed me) the rule that there can be no buying or ordering of new DVDs while there is still a stack of shrink-wrapped discs from the last order.

This is why my girlfriend still has her own place...

But, really, it's not like the new movies won't be watched eventually, and sometimes a bargain price can just be too good to pass up! Truth is, though, the main justification I have for my disease right now is the fact that I'm loading up on the $2 VCDs from stores that likely won't be replenishing their stock, so it's really more like a duty...

And judging from the kinds of films you review here Ed, and the obvious passion you have for this stuff, I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed with the GOLDEN CHICKEN films. I honestly wish they'd do a third one some day.
