Fantastic article, though I think the opening line is a bit presumptuous of, I'm guessing, westerners, but there are definitely some names to watch there, especially the MAD Architectural Design Studio, who designed this baby going up on the west end of Toronto:



But still, the "creative" class in any culture, especially the ones who achieve the levels of fame and power of those profiled in the article, is still a relatively small portion of the population, even in China. (and of course, I jealously wish I was one of them). But their collective influence is beyond measure to the popular image of just about any country that has them.
