From the Forbes story:
Premier Wen Jiabao called for a thorough investigation into Monday's collapse, saying those responsible would be "severely dealt with."

Man, I'd really like to think they won't execute more people for this, despite the loss of life. Prison time, certainly, but yet another round of death sentences seems hardly the solution for a cronyism-laden (and expectedly fallible) code of business ethics practised for generations and lower standards which have finally accumulated into a series of embarrassments that can't be covered up like they were in the days before internet news. I have to wonder if the media-fueled concerns about Chinese products will (and maybe even should) become concerns about ritual suicides and executions. :(

Must their parting be forever?

Ha-ha! Did they really watch the movie? :)
