Ouch! :lol: The bit where they label the CBC the "Chinese Broadcasting Corporation" reminds me of the time Fox News' resident right-winger-posing-as-a-centrist Bill O'Reilly called it the "Communist Broadcasting Corporation," for some reason or other related to Canada's unwillingness to bend all the way over for George W. He admitted he'd only seen one segment that dared to question his commander-in-chief, but that gave him enough info to make his claim about the broadcaster as a whole, apparently! :lol: :lol:

Nevertheless, the media pundits probably have it right with this Falun Gong thing: that Olympic contract seems to function as a very short leash.

Well, it cuts both ways. Between the pollution fears by athletes and calls for a boycott due to human rights reasons, there's counter leverage to be applied. :D

Particularly, the online begging for rent money. Hollywood's streets (and gutters) are filled with the residue of broken dreams and hearts.
