HONG KONG – Warner Bros. has teamed with Hong Kong's Emperor Motion Pictures for a rare Chinese remake of a Hollywood movie.

My guess is that Variety's Patrick Frater hasn't watched a lot of Hong Kong movies. Remakes of Hollywood movies are a little more common than he realizes. They're just not always credited . . .

CELLULAR was a better movie than I thought it would be. No classic, but the story could easily cross language barriers. Might be interesing to see this one. It'll be neat to see the great Larry Cohen's name on a Hong Kong movie as well!

Either way, both lines are fabulous. I'm a huge fan of HK's MTR; proud to say for 'Dei Tiet' as a private municipal asset is wherever I am in their system whether from Admiralty all the way to Tung Chung, it always appears that I could eat off the floor on any line or terminal. Simply amazing with the amount of foot traffic literally in the millions each day.

Question, Fan: it's been a few years but as I recall, the Airporter also has those commercial plasma TV screens in every car am I right?

BTW another sidetrack, I hear I can ride & surf my laptop on the MTR since the system's now WiFi enabled (don't have to keep buying lattes every 20 mins for hours waiting for web sessions at some mall coffee joint terminal). Assuming this isn't free, how are folks charged and where is the point of sale, not at the turnstile is it? Log-on by Octopus card? Boy can't wait! I mean, how else am I gonna keep up with the latest on the HK celebrity scandals while I'm on the move over there?

Not in every Airporter I guess, at least not in the route E21 which I usually take. But they can be found in most of the other buses.

Only when you have the PCCW WiFi service, I think.

But actually there're places like certain MTR stations, McDonald's & public libraries, where you can have the limited but free internet service.
