Interesting last paragraph in this one:

Reporters for local Asian media, including Fairchild TV, which was allowed one camera inside the chapel, were critical of the foreign photographers, who swarmed into nearby bushes and trees to get photos of Shum's casket. One reporter, who did not want to be quoted by name, complained that "the Hong Kong paparazzi are an international embarrassment."

I'm sure they're not too far behind L.A.'s paps, what with all the recent police crackdowns on their disruptive behaviour. But "international embarrassment" or no, there's no doubt a huge audience for whatever pictures those tree-climbers could get. Must have been quite the sight. :(
