Hard to say if she actually made all those demands or not but she is probably happy if whatever she asked for got her excluded from the promo tour. Actors hate doing promotions--most of them barely recall the movie they are pushing--few if any have actually watched the movie, since by the time the editing and post-production stuff was done they were working on something else.

Telling an actor that they won't be touring in support of a movie is something most of them would welcome. That they come off as pleased to be doing so--especially the seemingly necessary stuff about "what a great shoot it was and how we all look forward to working together again" simply shows that they are good at what they do, which is acting.
