Footage from Hong Kong Cable TV showed a police officer putting his arm around the neck of a Hong Kong Cable TV reporter and pulling him to the ground. The reporter said he was assaulted after his crew refused to leave a media zone, Cable TV reported. They were seen surrounded by dozens of police.

Posting this next one because mine was one of over 3,000 bikes stolen by a crooked bike shop owner here in Toronto. Luckily it was stolen recently enough that I got it back largely intact (except for the pedals) and he got one more charge added to his growing list (55 and counting).

But the sad part of the story is that the wife/girlfriend of this grimy character (you'd have to see a picture of him) is a well-heeled, highly respected and fairly well-known Korean-Canadian pianist named Jeannie Chung, and now she's also up on charges for theft, cocaine, etc.

Talk about career suicide.

Very bizarre, 3000 bikes? Talk about bad choices (on the pianist's part). Glad you got your bike back, though.
