Can anyone confirm and update?

In a review I wrote for this film elsewhere, I recall deliberately leaving Ken Lo's name out of the partial cast list I included. I'd probably only do that with a "major" name if I didn't see them in the film, so presumably I must not have seen him in this one. Of course, he may have been too fleeting for me to spot, or he may have been in a deleted scene.

I'm a little worried about images I post now that I know that some people may not be able to see them. I use Photobucket and thought that was OK. Anyways, yes, they are screen grabs from the closing credits that list two Sheila Chins, the well-known one and an apparent newcomer, so the DB list is correct in that regard. Ken Lo is also listed in the first screenshot, in a section called "Special Thanks" that includes him, Chan and about 8 other actors. I posted the full credits from this film many months ago and Carlos built the DB entry based on that, but I've since deleted them from my photobucket account and had to get new shots for this thread. Didn't have time for a gallery, I'm afraid.

According to Chinese Wikipedia and other sources ??? and ??? are the same Sheila. So if nobody stops me in 15 days I will merge them. About the Special Thanks, sometimes are people appearing in the movie and sometimes not. So I do not know if they really cast or not.

Hard to tell from the screen capture but it looks like the Chinese names are different. In the same film? Seems odd.

Interesting. Perhaps this is the movie where she decided to "announce" the change?

I notice in our entry for this film, Sheila Chan Suk-lan's character has a name: "Bo's Mom", but in the credits, she's "technically" only listed in the "special thanks" section, so where did her character name come from? Is that what's listed beside the second Sheila Chan (Chin) further down in the credits and someone made the connection?

Fair enough. It is odd, though, that every other name beside's Ken Lo on that "Special Thanks" list actually does appear in the film, and we have character names for most of them as well. I'm still thinking he might've been cut.
