Looks pretty crappy, but because it's shot in Hong Kong,
I must watch it!For some reason, my eyes aren't automatically drawn to Gordon's mug on the poster above!
Anyways, some interesting stuff turns up when you dig around on this one:
I went to the film's website (lostinlovemovie.com) and linked out to director Guy Orlebar's YouTube channel, which has several trailers for LOST IN LOVE, many of which claim it's based on a "true love story" (<<shudder>>) and some which reveal Beyond's Yip Sai-wing in a (supporting?) role:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3etpa7ARilMThe page also has trailers for what looks to be a GUNDAM-esque, "$10,000,000" sci-fi epic called FUTURE FIGHTERS, also featuring Gordon Liu along with Yasuaki Kurata, Rina Takeda (of HIGH KICK GIRL), Eriko Sato (of the live-action CUTEY HONEY) and Ray Park, from the director of "The Transformers The Movie". No, not
that one, the
other one, that cartoon movie from the 80's!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1724964/But I digress. Back to LOST IN LOVE. The IMDB listing actually calls it
KONG
HONG: LOST IN LOVE.

Surely that's just a boo-boo on the part of whoever entered the information, or perhaps some allusion to the swirling confusion of emotion that clearly underscores the movie!
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1316061/A little digging on leading man "Bene't Lynton" (real name: Benedict Garrett) reveals he's better known by his nom-de-porno "Johnny Cockfill"

. His day job and night job apparently didn't mix well:

I suspect LOST IN LOVE predates these more recent adventures, and perhaps remains unreleased because of them.

Unrelated, but since I was clicking around . . . IMDB credits Sarika Choi with having appeared in THE THIRD EYE and nothing else, while our DB correctly tags her in several pictures, but
not THE THIRD EYE. Hopefully someone can confirm this . . .
