But please have a second thought about Wen Ling, since she must have a strong relationship with Director Pan Lei.
Since he directed all her last six movies before she retired - and the Man Ling (2) has only credits with Pan Lei movies, too!!

Wen Ling, real name ???, was his wife. I think it is likely she got writing credit.

I am going to change the main title of this movie to The Woman of Alteration soon, as that is the title on the original lobby cards. Does anyone have any idea about the source of the Woman of Colour title? The entry is rather old and has had that title since at least 2009, but I can't trace it anywhere.

I am also going to remove the Champion International Films company attribution (it was produced by Pan Lei's company.) BTW, I agree with calros that the Wen Ling writing credit seems doubtful and we should remove that as well unless it can be traced to a source. It seems likely that someone mistook her planning 策劃 credit for a writing 編劇 credit.
