Calros, as i said in my previous post, Gracy Tong & Gracy Wong is the same person (she's actually the sister of Stanley Tong). Can you please merge the two names ? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working for a few years now on a restored version of THE BLACK MAGIC WITH BUDDHA, and during this process I discovered that there are actually two different cuts of the film. One is more solemn in tone, with less comic relief and a more respectful treatment of the divine elements—something I had never seen in any of the previously circulating video versions from Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Korea.

I’ll update the film’s technical sheet with more detailed information soon. For now, I can already point out that the Taiwanese Chinese title is different from the Hong Kong Chinese title:

Hong Kong title: 《腦魔》 (Brain Demon)

Taiwan title: 《腦魔附身》 (Brain Demon Possession)

I’m really excited to finally be able to share and reintroduce this rare Hong Kong horror film to audiences—especially in the West.
