These are Chinese, not Hong Kong. One of them - Street Angel - is already in the database.

Having these in here doesn't stray too far off the path of the site (at least no more than a complete Zhang Yimou film listing does). And they are arguably historic Chinese-language films.

Sadly most of my links are Western-sourced.

Interestingly, besides the 1937 and 1956 versions, there are also 1962 and 1995 films sharing the same Chinese title. The 1995 version is known as The Phantom Lover!

This film is composed of eight stories which are as follows: "twenty cents", "Chun Kuo Duan Meng ", "stanger", "San Ren Xing", "Yue Xia Xiao Jing", "ghost", "Crazy imagination" and "Xiao Wu Yi". These stories together make up a symphony of the society.
