sorry - forgot to post these final 3 credits. Godfrey Ho is listed as the director here (and almost everywhere else). Can we assume "Sunny Chin" is an alias?

I think Sunny Chin is not an alias of Godfrey but an alias of the real Korean director who directed the original movie before Godfrey supervised the re-edition.

Located the original poster for this - hoping Big5 title can be figured out
According to this site, the director is Kim Seon-Gyeong (I assume Sunny Chin is an alias)

Looks like Eagle Han was the martial arts director for this film, as he was for the other two parts of the trilogy

https://www.kmdb.or.kr/eng/db/per/00001678

Will make that change and add a new alias "Guy Yuen"

Complete - also changed from Martial Arts Director to Action Director in order to match the other instances he had this job

english credits are not good... find me one or many in chinese who is 動作導演 and you can change them, but for those years (and movie style) it is most likely 武術指導, sammo got his first action director credit in 1993 so i don't think guy yuen in those years was already credited that way on chinese credits

Ok, understood
Are his other “action director” credits incorrect as well then? I figured since he had the same job for all three parts of the Shantung trilogy they should all match.
I’m fine with whatever you feel is most accurate though

i already change them yesterday (because 1983 and below)

two strange things

Fist of the Golden Monkey, our english credits have Billy Mao as martial instructor, not in the eagle han ying aliases
Revenge of Drunken Master, our english credits have Jacky Chong as martial instructor, not in the eagle han ying aliases

can someone explain ?

and to comeback at action director discussion, i just wanna say after reviewing many credits from the 60's and 70's, i have seen it only one time so far (and i'm not really sure if i remember it right), most of the time it is 武術指導, 武術設計 (designer) and 武術顧問 (consultant). 武術指導 is still use the most in the 80's...

so far a few examples
Lau Kar-Leung have only 4 action director credit (verified)(first one in 1987)
Tong Kai only 1 in1997
Han Ying-Chieh 0
Jackie Chan only 6 (first one in 2003)
Lau Kar-Wing only 3 (first one in 1989)
Bruce Leung Siu-Lung 0
bruce law 30 (many movies still need credits so we can say this one is unverified)

since the new jobs, its a work in progress we cannot make all the change in one day, its normal that many of our 28 first jobs still have many incorrect credits (art director, costume designer, cinematographer, lighting, action director, assistant action director (in all the credits i have done i only seen it 2 times)...), with the great help of Magic Wong i have corrected a lot of HK movies from the 80's to today with movie credits, they are still a lot to update but it's going very well.

Back when I added those credits I did not make changes to the existing aliases as I assumed calros would usually make the updates. Looking at them now, I think those are both aliases for Eagle Han but have simply not been added yet. Personally, unless it is clear who the English credits are referring to, I'm hesitant to add them in. As is evident from these Eagle Han aliases, there isn't much consistency from one Godfrey Ho film to the next.
