Probably you answered this question a million times but I could not find it. Image I think I know the answer but I still...

Do you count movies made for TV or series made for TV companies? Because Lam Ching Ying made four complete TV series in between 1995-1997.

Thank you so much for the answer.

I think,no.If so there are other tv series with other actors but they are not added here too.
But tv movies count.

There are dozens of TV movies in the database currently. They are movies, after all! ;)

There has been talk of adding TV series over the years, but just like the TV movies, I don't think there's way to "tag" them or otherwise differentiate them from the broader "movies" category. I'd LOVE to see this happen as I think the addition of TV series would--over time--contribute to far more inclusive talent filmographies, and would ultimately make this site that much more invaluable to users.

Thank you for the answer Brian. Image
You are so right about this. I would love to see that happening too.

Lam Ching Ying for example. Your database ends with his Kung Fu Kid from 1994, suggesting that his career ended that year. But the fact is that his busiest and most successful period (in Hong Kong at any rate) just started in 1994. We should at least add those TV works to his filmography.

And yes you are right. ATV employs so many talented actors/actresses and the Database would just gain from adding those details. Funnily enough, the younger generation in China gets to know Lam's SB and Golden Harvest time through those TV series he made. My personal experience is this: They visit the Lam site for these TV dramas and after looking around they start to ask questions about his early period.

Sorry gentlemen for the long speech and for the mistakes. English is still not my strongest.
