At the end of my new cast page are 14 credits images with many names to add to the hkmdb cast and crew list:

Maybe you were right and Peter Chan and Chan Ho-Sun are the same person, because he and Cheng Yuk-Koon appear credited as ?? (child star) so maybe Peter Chan is
and the other boy is Cheng Yuk-Koon but I am not sure.

I'm now sure that it is Peter Chan in the movie (but I'm not sure which one of the two boys he is). Reason: The director Chan Tung-Man plays a small role in PERHAPS LOVE (updated cast list) of Peter Chan - I guess he is a relative (father?).
