Added:

Crew alias for:
Lee Shin (Li Shin)
Chen Hay-Lock (Chen Sin-Lok)
Cheung Fong-Seng (Cheung Fong-Shing)
Wong Chau-Gwai (Wong Chou-Kwai)
Lam Kwan-Chi (Lam Kwan-Kay)
Stanley Chow Fook-Leung (Chow Fok-Liang)

Cast alias for:
Doris Lung Chun-Erh (Lung Chung-Ie)
Ching Lap-Wai (Ching Lap-Wei)

Crew add for:

Lau Yim (2) - Asst. Director
Cheung Fong-Seng - Lighting
Wong Wing-Fat - Lighting
Chung Chi-Kwong (1) - Art Director
Wong Chau-Gwai - Editor
Lam Kwan-Chi - Sound Recordist

There's lots more that I couldn't figure out...

On a side note, P.S. Chiang is listed as an alias for Joseph Kuo, but both names show up in these credits. Why would they use one name for the script and his regular name for the producer/director?

Also, Chan Ming-Kwan (1) is listed as a still photographer in the credits - do we list him as the cinematographer? Brian, your chance to chime in! These credits are full of crew descriptions that we don't currently list, i.e. woodwork? (I assume that set construction?)

I'm no expert on Kuo or his aliases, but I do know that other producer-directors in other countries (even the U.S.) have often taken pseudonyms for their writing on the same productions. I usually attribute this to their humbly not wanting to look like "do-it-alls" even though they are, or, at worst, spreading the blame around a bit if audiences or critics are harsh: in other words, using a pseudonym increases the chances that the pseudonym would get blamed in the wider public's perception if anyone thought the writing was atrocious, which would leave the writer's real name relatively unscathed (unless the direction also sucked, of course!). ;)

Wow. So many to pick from! Not sure I'd add them all. I would definitely add Assistant Cinematographer/Cameraman to the drop-down job title list in the DB editing tools. I see that in the credits of a lot of newer movies, and think it would, over time, help chart the up-or-downward career trajectories of many DPs, similar to Assistant Directors. I'd also like to see a "Sets" or "Set Construction" credit, or something along those lines, under which we could add the appropriate crew members. I'm reasonably certain that "Props" and "Art Director" don't really cover such positions. More to ponder . . . ;)

EDIT: Looking through the job title list, I have to wonder if "Car Stunts" and "Motorbike Stunts (which is rarely used) should perhaps be combined into a simple "Vehicle Stunts" title. Of course, that's a thought for a different thread! :D

There are directors who change their name when they write the script: Chu Yuan, Jeff Lau, etc.

Portraitized prod. co., added 1 art dir., makeup and 1 actor.
