85 images added to Poisonous Rose (1966)

I've added some stuff for Poisonous Rose (1966), under
the name Poison Rose.

First, I've added the box art to the American VHS and Shaw
Brothers' poster art for the film. Then, I added ten credit
image screencaps:

http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/credits. ... ay_set=eng

Then I added 60 portraits and 23 screenshots:

For the actors and their characters, as I've been able to
construe them from the film, the following should be added at

http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mht ... ay_set=eng :

Julie Yeh Feng as Jiang Feng, the Poison Rose
Wang Hsieh as Kang Hua
Man Ling (1) as Fang Ling
Cheung Fong-Ha as Cop No. 1 (Kang Hua's boss)
Seung Fung as the No. 2 cop
Cheung Fong-Ha as private investigator Lu Tian
Man Ling (1) as Kang Hua's girlrfirend (or fiancee?) Fang Ling
Wong Chung-Shun as Li San
Chow Siu-Hing as Mr. Zhou, owner of the Black Widow nightclub
Ngai Ping-Ngo as Fourth Brother
Betty Ting Pei as woman in hotel who mistakenly kisses Kang Hua
Hung Lau as a thug

Enjoy. :)

Removed "portrait tags". Remember that you can upload all the images you wish, but one and only one of each actor/actress can be "tagged" as "portrait".
See rules about portraits: http://www.hkmdb.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=51736

Added phot., mus., ed., art dir., assist. dir., makeup, sound and 1 actor.

I was not aware of this.

And when I go to viewtopic.php?f=15&t=51736 , I encounter a message that says,
"You are not authorised to read this forum."

Oh, sorry... I do not understand, if you are HKMDB Editor you should be able to enter in the "Editor's Forum"
Anyway:

First of all, we must be clear about what is a portrait and what is not.

This is not a portrait:

This is not a portrait:

But:

You can add the images that are not portrait, but you cannot tag them as portrait.

Bad quality portraits.

Image

Allowed as portraits when there are very few images (or none) of the person.
But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed.

Double and triple portraits from same person in same movie.
First kind:

Allowed as portraits when there are very few images (or none) of the person.
But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed.
 Exception: Extreme makeups or disguises in the same movie.

Second kind:

BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD!
Not allowed!

Other cases:

Allowed as portraits when there are very few images (or none) of the person.
But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed.

 Portraits taken from magazines etc., but with the titles and other letters in the image:

Allowed as portraits when there are very few images (or none) of the person.
But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed.

:!: Portraits taken from magazines, but without titles and other letters, are allowed as portraits. Also glam photos without letters.

 Deformed Portraits :

Not allowed! Use THE GIMP in order to de-deform them, or ask for help to me.

 Portraits with subtitles or other writings in the image:

Allowed as portraits when there are very few images (or none) of the person.
But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed.

Remember: These rules are only for portraits, but you can upload the images you wish and in the way you wish. Only remember that they cannot be tagged as "Portrait".

Unless the "Editor's Forum" is the same as the "Additions and Modifications" forum, I am not able to enter
the Editor's Forum of which you speak.

I didn't see anything about only tagging one portrait of a person as *the* (i.e. one official) portrait.

I *did* find this, however: "But if there are more than 5 portraits of that person, they will be removed
or its tag as portrait will me removed." To *me*, that sounds like more than one image is allowed to be
designated as "portrait" for a given film, as long as the total of portraits does not exceed 5. See below:

Who are you looking to add multiple portraits to?

Double and triple [or 4 or 5 or 6...] portraits from same person in same movie.
First kind:

Well, I have five for Julie Yeh Feng for Poison Rose (1966)
http://www.hkmdb.com/db/movies/images.m ... ay_set=eng
because I like her face. :)

I still don't see how the explanation above *precludes* tagging more than
one portrait of a person as a portrait.

What it *does* mention is, "if there are more than 5 portraits of that
person, they will be removed or its tag as portrait will me removed."

To *me*, that sounds like up to five images are allowed to be designated
as "portrait" for a given film.

If I say you cannot use more than 1 portrait from the same person in the same movie... do you understand that you can use up to 5 portraits from the same person in the same movie?

Here's the issue... When you tag a whole bunch of images from the same movie as portraits, the actor's/actress's portrait page starts to be a mess. The purpose of the portrait page is to show the progression of an actor or actress through their career by year, quality not quantity. You can upload all the images you want, just choose one as the portrait that represents that film best. It's the rule, it's not going to change.

Okay; I get it, now. It just wasn't clear by the material which had been forwarded to the forum.
