Chinese credits

First part: changed assist. action dir. by action dir., removed assist. dir., added prod., plan., assist. dir., phot., ed., art dir. and sound.
2nd part: added gaffer, makeup, hairdresser, costumes, continuity and 1 actor.

I have added the alias 全本鐵公鷄 and the note "alternative spelling" to the existing alias 全本鐵公雞. The character 鷄 is a variant form of 雞, the latter might be more commonly used nowadays, but I can't find it on any actual source (Posters & on-screen title say 鷄).

Now I also want to change the Chinese main title from 鈑公雞 into 鐵公鷄, according all my available sources (Poster & DVCD), unless someone comes up with a source saying 鈑.

Does anyone have a reliable clue about the release date? Should it be changed to 1979?
Douban says it was relased in Taiwan on 20 September 1979, while IMDB says it was on 30 november 1979. IMDB also reports a Canadian release date in October 1979. I have no idea which of these is correct, if any.

Unfortunately I can't decipher the newspaper's date, but it was advertised together with THE FINAL CHALLENGE (衝刺) and WHERE IS HER HOME (何處是兒家) which are both from 1979. Only problem is I have no information if these are release or production dates, but I think all available information together narrow it down to 1979. Furthermore there's no exact release date from 1980 available either.

Hi, According to this taiwanese document, I believe the release date in Taiwan is correct, September 20, 1979.
(It seems that the film was shown in Taiwan for only about a week.)
So the release year is 1979, right?



And about EDIT2 , I'm not sure of the date, but I think the newspaper ad was also pre-release.

Many thanks, leecoo, this looks more credible to me as it provides not only a release date but also the entire screening period. I'm going to change the year along with the Chinese main title in a few days, if I don't meet headwind in the meantime.
