For whatever it's worth, I thought it was remarkably good. You can tell it was made in the wake of INFERNAL AFFAIRS, but the similarities are at best cosmetic as this film has a decent story in its own right, with some clever twists and turns. Nicely subdued direction, too, which is a bit of a surprise in a Wong Jing movie sometimes. I especially liked the writing of the relationship between Anthony Wong and his father.
